gauge pod sizes?

I've looked on ebay to find a universal 3 gauge pod and they say they are for 2 1/6 or 52mm gauges. I bought sunpro 2 inch gauges. Will these work with no modifications??

1/6 inch (4.16mm) diameter isn't very much. They probably will not fit tight in the hole, unless the pod has a hole that is meant to be cut to size (a little flashing around the opening). I you need to fix the size difference, you could use a washer or plate behind the pod hole, add fiberglass around the opening and re-cut the hole or something of that nature.
