gauge cluster?

i have a 1993 ranger and i was wanting to know if an older style cluster are interchangeable?

might have to repin the plug so but that's about it

well i was wanting a stock look but the part i want the most is the rev meter idk the correct name for it.mine right now dosent have that, if i find one in 93 to 94 with a rev meter will it work? or how can i make it work?

TACHOMETER... Is what we, Texans call a rev meter..

well instead of changing out the whole gauge cluster can't you just buy a aftermarket tach? seems like it might be easier than having to tear apart your dash and rewire connectors possibly....

probaly but i dont wanna spend the money on an aftermarket one and then drill a hole to mount it some where in my line of sight

Mounted to the top of the steering column seems to be a fairly popular choice. Not sure where you'd have room to drill tho and still have it look decent. They make reasonably priced tachs, or used would be an option also.
