The wiring harness is different so it's not a plug and play swap.
I wanted to do that very swap only with a Ranger but didn't want to do it bad enough to modify the harness.

I just swapped a cluster with a tach out of my donor 88 B2 into a 92 ranger and everything hooked up right and works good. you just have to drive it a bit for the tach to get...... calibrated?
