What's wrong with these idiots?:icon_confused:

They just built an all steel 1932 3 window (already chopped), new chassis, new suspension, engine, auto trans, interior, paint and period correct wheels and tires, a beautiful hot rod.

Then they (in their infinite wisdom "again") put it in a auction at NO RESERVE!:thefinger:

Lost their freakin asses....again.:bawling:

Psst.. It's a "reality" show. Bad actors with attitude, deadlines, dramatic background music and so on. I give it less than a year and they'll be replaced with something worse.

What I do like about the show, there's no fighting.

They got some pretty cool cars sometimes.

Oh yeah, and I think they're funny.

And don't forget....all these shows are scripted and everything is rehearsed as well.

I'm sure the TV contract more than covered their loss at the auction.

After watching one of the early episodes where they destroyed a perfectly good "survivor" Model A sedan, and then saying perfectly scripted lines, I said they have no taste and this show is BS. Never watched another episode.

Yeah - I saw that too yesterday. I just thought they were pretty stupid to take the half-finished Caddy and the Rod to an auction they had never been to. When you're trying to sell stuff KNOW YOUR MARKET!!!!

1st Rule: NEVER chop up old metal to modify the body(unless it's so rusty that it really can't be hurt!)

Last Rule: Never "..................................................(...................
....................................!)".

Also in the auction world. If it has a reserve it shuns away a lot of bidders. It's like on eBay when the starting price is a dollar below the buy it now. The point of auctions is either to get a rare car at any price, or to get a good deal on any car. So if its not rare people are less likely to pay the reserve price which is to them retail

ugh. I can't stand richard. Also arrons voice changes when he explains something. Puts on like a tough guy voice or something lol.

But The show isn't bad...I wish they didn't mess with that wildfire though. At least it's not car warriors. That show is so annoying.

All reality TV is terrible....

Reserves cost money. that in the end takes away from profit if you manage a good sale. But Paying some guy 30k for a car then dropping 20k into it then losing your shirt in sale is not good Patrick, not good./

What is done for the cameras is done for the cameras. Let that go to all the haters whining about scripts. Some stuff is done and takes so long or happens so fast that cameras can not catch what is being done, so script in a few choice words and off we go.
Richard seems like a fun dude, likes to drink, likes to party and likes cars, what more could you want in a buddy? Aron has talent, and he wants to show off for the TV,. nothing wrong with that. Is commitment to a theme is good. Just be damn glad we have a auto show instead of that stupid bitch show with bruce jenner.
A DAMN I love that RAPTOR, I would do a show of nothing but me driving it all over the place and jumping shit. Today boys and girls I am going to jump that rail road crossing, later today I going to jump that hump in the road down yonder, after that we getting drunk and do doughnuts till I puke.

i dont think it's half as bad as "Counting cars"....that rawlins guy likes to drink beer and work on cars, plus he drives a raptor on top of that. i worry about his mechanic with the beard though, that thing is gonna get set on fire or wound up in an angle grinder lol.
