Gas Mileage

Way too many variables on all the swaps, motors, transmissions, gears and such. Mild V-8 build, lot have gotten better mileage. Most don't do it for the mileage, of course.

Mine's EFI, HO, manual trans, 3.55 gears. Not exactly what you're looking for.

I get 16mpg with the window down. I think you know what I mean.

It's much better than the original 4.0 engine.

:icon_confused:If you're worried about mileage, you can't afford a V8 swap.:icon_rofl: You'll spend enough money in doing the swap to buy 1,000 gallons of gas. Then you'll burn at least half that in the first year before you can restrain your right foot from nailing the go pedal at every redlite.:icon_thumby:

My 5.0 is still fuel injected with a 100% stock motor, AOD transmission, 3.73 gears, 2wd, 255/60-15 tires on stock steel wheels and I get 22 mpg.
