Gas in the oil?

Update: I swapped computers with my 87 Ranger and the fuel pump came on for 2 seconds. The test sequence also ran normally. Shout out to Psychopete and Spitfire1975 for help tracking this down!!

Not running yet. I still need the computer in the Ranger, so I still need to get a replacement for the Bronco. I did try to start it while the good computer was in, but it just cranked. I pulled a plug out and it was wet with gas. Still need to do the fuel pressure check. I will keep you posted.

Any ideas on where to get cheap computer?

Cheapest is either going to be online (craigslist) or a you pull it wrecking yard. Someone on here may have one they would be willing to part with.

Cleaning up old posts:
My issue turned out to be a bad computer (ground at pin 22 faulty). The previous owner put a jumper in to "hot wire" the fuel pump so that it would run, but it ran all the time with the key on, even if the motor was not running. All that extra gas in the cylinders made its way into the oil.
New computer has the fuel pump working as designed now.
