On my 87 BII my gas gauge is reading backward. To day I pulled the tank thinking a hole in the flote causeing my gauge to not work. So after pulling about 15-17 gallons of gas out of it knowing it was full. The pump and sending unit is out of an 89 if that makes an differnct. I have checked all of the wire's and none of them is hook backward. I tryed switching the yellow and the orange wire around and that did't work neather.
