My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
the blower for my furnace is about to go out. It is really noisy, sounds like a bearing is going out and the squirrel cage wobbles slightly in its housing.

it looks like is it easy enough to replace but where do I get another blower? does it have to be the exact model (this one was built in 1982) or just one that flows the same CFM. Can it be rebuilt? and where can I get a replacement ...... is it something Home Depot or Lowes carries?

I changed the bearings on one many years ago. Can't remember the details but it was not very involved.
