Ok, so i am doing a chevy leaf swap and i'm hammering on one of the bolts to get it out of the old chevy hangers and the eye of the main leaf freaking SNAPS OFF! it apparently had a hairline crack and of course i got the damn pieces of GM shit from a junkyard so there are no returns. What the hell, i am so pissed. Now i am not sure what to do, this is so stupid. they were off a 96 too! not even that old!

but seriously wtf is up with that, its rediculous

lol, there was a guy on another message forum I'm on awhile back that had the same sort of thing happen with his chevy leaf swap.... except his let go the first time he rolled it out on the trails to test it out after spending a couple years totally rebuilding his BII and a couple years in the military where he couldn't try it out. Then in systematic order the other two GM parts he used in his build failed....

Thus the only GM part I use on my trucks?

The light for under the hood.... it's got a like 15' wire that reels up when not in use, lol.

Chevy leafs are supposed to provide some lift and better flex.

its a joke man, that could happen with any leaf from any truck
so whats the improvement with chevy leafs?

with combinatin of ranger leafs and a main 63" chevy leaf and i can get more flex + lift to match my front 4" superlift i just installed will probably end up running the chevies , extended shackles and i might be able to get rid of the stock ranger lift block and still get like 3 inches of lift in the rear depending on the combination of leaves i use. but now i'm screwed cuz they broke :icon_rofl:

Try to see if the yard will work with you maybe sell another one cheaper that sucks to hear man
