Gabriel Or Bilstein shocks?

So i was wondering what shocks you guys recommend? i looking at the Gabriel Max Controls or maybe some Bilstein shocks but dont know whats really better? BTW I have a 1993 Ranger 2WD No lift. Or any other brand you guys may know of thanks.

I'd just go with some Monroe Gasmatics if your not looking to lift or do any hard wheeling and whatnot. I have them all round on my Ranger and I'm pretty happy with them.

i actually use the truck for construction work so i need something that can take some weight when hauling wood and supplies. BTW are Gabriels Ultra shocks any good?

i have gabriel G force gas shocks, good sinde is: the truck seems to be more stable at high speed and the ride comfort is still really good, bad thing is. in my case the rubber bushibg from the bottom of the shock (front set ) wore out like in a week or 2, so i had to replace it with my old rear shocks rubber bushing, the thing hasnt give me any trouble since that. didnt took em back to the shop cuz i lost the ticket but they say its a common issue with gabriels and rangers, if u can mod it, its a good not expensive at all shock

Ya, If your not going to lift it, I wouldn't buy really expensive shocks unless you plan on putting a lot of stress on them. But if I were going to buy nice shocks, I would go the Bilstein. And if I were just wanting shocks, I like the Rancho shocks.

thanks guys i think ill just stick with the gabriel ultras. not gonna be doing any off roading or anything so im sure theyll be great.
