G50 on ranger

Well if you want that kind of travel build up your rear end like his.. he has a thread on the site. I'd recognize that truck anywhere.

thats going to be a 64" swap kit, not the deaver race pack (G50). You could try moving your shackle hangers back and it will droop a little more, that is, if you just mounted it from the stock location

I here most guys move the rear hanging back about an inch and a half from stock location..I believe your shackle have should be at this angle (\) not (/) or verticle

Ya move your shackle hanger back so that the front holes on the hanger line up with the original rear holes. That'll help a little but the pic that you posted looks alot like the giant 64 which is gonna get more travel than the g50's or the f31's.

if you use those holes the springs will bind in droop and will break when you cycle them up. I only know cause i tried it, they need to be moved back further than that.

to figure out the best place to mount your hangers, break down the pack so that you only have the main leaf, then bolt that up, and compress/droop it out while moving the hanger around.

like stated above, you can't get that kind of travel out of a g-50 pack, since that is a giant 64 kit and is basically a leaf sprung alternative to links. if i remember right, the g50 or f31 packs can only get around 16" of travel.
