I think it was kinda dumb to not have called the 500 "Taurus" from the beginning.

well that's kinda what i ment. it may have been a new vehicle but would have been the taurus had Ford had any brains.

I'd really lean more towards the '80 Taurus. 3.5 engine SIX speed auto, optional AWD...

i'd second that motion

im a die hard vulcan fan...but boy is that 3.5 fun. msn autos puts the 3.5 taurus as less than 1/10th slower in the 1/4 mile than a 4.0 'stang
