funny/embarrassing moments

this is the most embarrasing moment for me, at least with pictures lol

My most embarrassing vehicle moment was when I owned my 2003 Eclipse Gt. I think I had just cleaned the filter on the cold air intake, and somehow forgot to tighten the clamps on it enough. While at the intersection or coming up to it, the part with the filter and mass airflow sensor fell off from the intake tube. It sputtered and shut off. Then the light turned green, i got it started then it lerched, then stalled. My buddy had to get out and push the car across the busy intersection with people waiting behind me. It was embarrassing. My car was very cleanly done, and it had to be pushed across the intersection to where I could cost down in to a Hobby Lobby parking lot where I tightened the hose clamps up with a penny and drove it home.:annoyed:

i was parking my truck the other day, completly stopped, with one foot on the brakes and the other on the clutch, i let go the clutch to engage the parking brake, but i forgot to put it in neutral lol

I gots a couple. One with pics, but I'm gonna have to look hard to find the pic.

Anyway, driving past my buddy's house in pouring rain right after doing my exhaust, I hit a bump in the road, tail-pipe comes off. I had to stop in, while he wasn't there, (his mom didn't really know me at this point) and ask to use the garage to fix it.

Then there was the time that I was doing 80 and snapped a u-joint. Cop blocks off traffic for me so I can move over to the wide shoulder, I put it in 4x4 and no-go because I left a hub unlocked.

I'll save the 3rd for when I find the pic.

i was trying out a 76 f250 last year, we romped on it alittle bit, and it blew the cherry bomb glasspack clean off the exhaust pipe! whoops haha

one time i was out at a public beach access in my old 87 f150 4x4. I went into a little bit of sand and instantly got stuck, it was so degrading, so i spend an hour of 4x4 trying to get out, aired down, and before i knew it i had to call my boss and tell him i was going to be late cause i was stuck. Then after another half hour of trying to dig my truck out it dawned on my i hadn't put my hubs in and was never truly in 4 wheel. So i turned the hubs in and drove right out....haha whoops!

I saw a Japanese guy trying to drive on the beach with his Focus. Didn't air down or anything. We ended up breaking up a picnic table and using the boards to shove under his front tires to get him out.

I don't understand how someone actually thought that they could drive a focus in the sand? How does that thought process work?
