I got my truck with a few problems, one was a bad speedo sensor that I couldn't figure out how to replace for about 1200 miles, during that time it shifted hard so I was always easy on the throttle and knew where to expect the gears to go.

I have since (9000 miles ago) changed out the sensor and have been driving it regularly, yet, problems still remain....

When shifting on the column I need to give my truck a sec to shift itself into that gear, and sometimes when cold and at the right moment, the truck will jolt from 2-3 (rarely, but does), and about once a month or less it won't even shift into first when I come to a complete stop and try to go again.

Did I damage my torque converter? I have enough fluid in it and the filter and fluid I changed with adsm08 a few months ago.

Could be burnt clutches in the trans or the bracket that holds the epc in the valve body what trans is in it.

I am not sure honestly, its a 99 3.0 4wd
