HEy, i have a newly developed issue with my truck
I have listened to it for a month now and there is a funny clunking noise coming from the right front when i turn right and go over bumps in the road, driveway, parking lot entrances, ect..., the ball joints are newer and im at a loss. Could it be the bearings goin bad and clunking/shifting around down there? help or anything to check on would be appeciated!

mine also did that when you were turning or hit a hole, it has to be something in the coils cause after i did my suspension lift( new coils, shocks and add a leaf) the mysterious clunk has gone away. before i did my suspension lift i had like 1.5" of travel inbetween my ttb and the botton of my frame so i always thought it was just bottoming out,but like i said it must be in the suspesion like your coils coming "loose" and jumping out but then coming back down and smacking on the base maybe? my coils were really squashed when i replaced them. o try rocking the truck side to side and get someone to rock it back and forth while you investigate what is clunking but i never really found the problem but it seemed to go away after the lift. hope that helps narrowing down the problem for you

To my knowledge, noises like that are generally related to supension bushings.

I know my neighbor replaced all the suspension bushings under his BII and his clunking went away.

Maybe try looking at your lug nuts and tighten them if there loose had the same problem and looked at my lugs and there was the problem clunky noise stopped and that was that so try that maybe it can happen...

could also be a blown out shock or a bad shock bushing, i had one get torn and fall off the top mount on my shock creating the exact same noise your describing

Radius arm bushing.

my truck does the same thing i investigated an i have coil spacers an the washer an bolt that holds the coil to the suspension was was backed off about an inch so i thnkg its that but the bolt is like impossible to move so an i cant get a wrench in there to tighten it
