Wasn't really sure where to post this.

On the top of the gas tank there is the plate with the lock ring where the fuel pump mounts and etc. The vent line that goes up to the filler neck has some sort of a plastic fitting that comes off this plate at a 90, then has the rubber hose attached to it which attaches to the vent tubing on the filler neck.

I was trying to remove this fitting last week to check the vent hose (still trying to diagnose and see what I can do about the fuel filling issues), but I had no idea what to do to remove the fitting. I should have taken a picture.

It's not a standard push-lock style fuel fitting like the hard lines have them or even the kind that are on the fuel filter and other plastic lines I've seen. It's just a squared off body with two small rectangular holes to the outside. It looks like it probably requires a special tool to get off but being that I've never seen this kind of fitting before, I don't even know what it would use.

Would anybody happen to know how to get this thing off?
