Well, I finally broke down and bought the Flashpaq F5. The top speed limiter is gone, but my truck is still a turd. Tis a pretty flat run from my house to work, and it took about a minute to get up to 100. I am not impressed, like i was with the F5 on my 5.4 F150. I will keep the tuner bc it is better than not having any tweeks at all.

I was exaggerating w the “one minute” remark. It def takes a get there tho. It definitely took me long enough to get bored and bring it back down to 65.

fuguy, the cats are already gutted, air box mod, shorty headers, flowmaster super 44 is dumped under the bed, egr deleted. I know that putting an efan on my wifes colorado really helped squeeze more out of the 3.5. I may just end up doing the efan mod...

the 2003 4.0L rangers have no EGR everything was removed and block off on them at the factory. PCMs are program without the system.

My speedo only goes to 85 but the needle occasionally does go past. I try to get it back to 0 sometimes...Its sketchy. I hang on for dear life and embrace my loved ones when I get home (the dogs).

I'm not a speed demon, but around here the fine balance between avoiding death and making progress faster than walking pace requires tremendous amounts of excessive acceleration, braking, sudden lane changes, and a few minor traffic law violations. usually the cops notice you are trying to avoid death by oblivious idiot in a prius/tesla, and let it slide.

Lately I noticed the Kia drivers are the majority idiot road hazards....the Prius has passed the torch.

Your truck (this one) is not supposed to go that fast. Its more supposed to be that thing towing a boat with a 4 banger you are stuck behind going 32mph on a 65mph highway
