ok im gonna try and change my fuel rail tomorrow i have a leak in mine when i remove plenum is there a gasket that i need to replace when i take this apart ive never had any of this apart before and im no mechanic but i can figure it out thanks for any info

If it is like my 4.0 there are 2 gaskets one on top and one on the bottom of the fuel rail. If I recall the set cost about $10 from AutoZone.

i got down to the fuel rail and canot the fuel lines seperated they seem to be seized into the coupler nothing i did worked now im stuck any hints on seperating these lines

spray some lube into the spring lock.

the spring lock doesnt seem to be what is seized i think the line is seized together i can get the spring disengaged but the line wont come all apart

ok can anybody tell me if i can replace the braided portion of fuel line with rubber line so i can replace the ends and fix my fuel leak
