I am in the final stages of my Turbocoupe motor swap into my 84 ranger. Im at the point where im routing the fuel lines and i have decided that it would be too difficult to use an in-tank style pump that comes factory in the TC, not to mention, how expensive. So, i am going to use an external pump mounted on the frame behind the cab. Im not sure as to which pump, psi, gph, etc. to use on this application. The motor is pretty much stock. '86 turbo 2.3 fuel injected, stock t3 turbo for now. Any suggestions?

Frame mounted fuel injection pumps are not cheap. Summit carries quite a few. You will need something that is atleast 45 psi and flows 190lph.

$180 external pump vs. New in-tank pump ($165) + New sending unit ($100) + i wouldn't able to use my stock ranger tank, so id have to get a TC tank. Add another $125 or so. I'm no genius but i have a calculator. I didnt start this thread to get "know it all" remarks. Any other suggestions?
