fuel pump not turning on???

ok thanks alot for the help. is there an easy way to check if the computer is getting power?

lol im good at mechanical crap but when it comes to electrical wiring im a retard, an i really appreciate the help.

A good way to see if the computer is doing it's thing and happy is if it's getting spark. Since you have no signal to the starter solenoid, that will be difficult to check for. I am sure once you start diagnosing that part of the circuit, you may find some other things that need addressed. You can also check for power at pin #1 (large yellow wire) when the key is put on run on the 60-pin computer harness. ECC relay clicking?

the 60 pin connector is the one that bolts to the computer? an there is not clicking what so ever when i turn the key to start or on. the door open chim is about the only sound that happens.

mine wasn't starting and it turned out to be the fuel pump relay

mine was under the hood, left side, under the cover that also covers the air filter assembly.

it had gotten wet, and was a very easy 13 dollar fix.

check that out.

Yes.

You need to trace the circuit back. The Helm Inc. diagrams give you locations of connectors/splices/etc that are priceless for situations like these. There isn't just one thing that can cause all of those problems, there isn't a simple solution besides looking at a good diagram and finding where voltage is missing and why... From what you describe, it sounds like the wiring from the ignition switch has been cut(?), but it's really impossible to tell with out being there and seeing what the deal is - and that would be with a good diagram handy. Otherwise you're just shooting in the dark as to what the problem would be, where the circuits run, and how they work. I wish I could tell you more, but I don't own that diagram and there's no way I buying one for a vehicle I don't own. :icon_twisted:

They are really not bad to read, it just takes some patience to set down and soak up the information. Just a matter of looking at the circuits and gathering some test points for diagnosis. I really don't think it will be resolvable with out some sort of guide through that massive amount of wiring.

He has no signal to the starter solenoid and apparently his ECC relay is not tripping. Without ECC function, there is no fuel. It seems his problems are further upstream.
