fuel mileage

what kind of fuel milege should i expect to see out of a 91 explorer sport with the 5speed?? my heads are cracked and trying to decided if i want to spend the money to fix the truck or just scrap it

approx 17-19 mpg on a 4 door a sport might do a bit better being a wee bit lighter. maybe 18-20 average.

ok thats not bad i think i'm gonna go ahead and fix it, found some heads for 150 each with a core, so i'm thinking about another 600 in it and it should be goin again. any problems with the lowerend on these i should know about it's got 144k on it
