Fuel mileage question

I have a '96 4X2 extended cab 5-speed with 3.0L engine. What is considered average to good fuel mileage without carrying a load or towing a trailer? The engine is bone stock and in good tune.

I have a 97 3.0 5spd 4x4 3.73 gears. and a get between 18-21 around town and 21-26 highway
