Which is the inlet and which is the return on an OHV 4.0? I was thinking the fuel pressure regulator would be the inlet but now I'm not sure.

Fuel Rail, between upper and lower intake, gets the pressurized fuel from the pump.

Fuel pressure regulator(FPR) has the Return, no pressure, line
If pressure goes above 40psi FPR opens a bit and lets extra fuel/pressure flow back to the tank

Awesome, took a guess that the big one was the inlet and it turns out I was right.
