fuel line repair?

Figured it would post in here. Unfourtunately the previous owner neglected to remove fuel and plastic lines when he did the SAS and the pic below is what's left. This is the filter to engine supply line, can this be fixed with the fuel line repair kits offered by dorman or do I need to go scrapyarding and try my luck?

I can't tell. Is that melted? Either way if the damage to the line is less than a foot long, yeah just one connector with hose attached spliced in and you'd be good to go. If the damage extends farther up the hose, you'd need more hose and a second splice.

There's never a need to go junkyard surfing for those pieces cause all of them are available. They just add up quick. I was gonna completely redo the system on my truck and was looking at ~$200 - $300 for lines and fittings.
