Alright guys, I'm out of ideas here and I'm hoping someone has some magic trick or voodoo spell I'm unaware of that will help me get this fuel line off of my '94 2.3l.
I bought a disconnect tool kit and so far it worked like a charm removing all the AC lines and the large fuel line going to the fuel rail. But the small line (fuel rail) flat will not come apart. I can't tell if the tool is going in all the way or not. I can take a small screwdriver and move the spring around so I know it's moving in there, but the thing is stuck. The spring was a little rusty (not real bad at least in appearance), but it does move in there. It's not releasing or something. I've been working on one fuel line for 2 days, my finger is chopped to shreds and I can barely bend it now.
Is there a "this is the tool you need" that everyone goes to? I am SO close to taking a cutter to it right now, but I have to step away so I don't do a stupid.
This is the tool kit I bought a while back
Anyway, is there a trick to this that I'm missing? Do I need a better tool? Any ideas?
