Hey guys, I haven't been able to find a Chilton manual for my truck yet. it's a 1990 ranger with a 2.9l. Does anyone know of a good write up on how to remove the fuel injectors and or Rail?

I probably have a Chilton's book for that truck.

Anyway, removing the rail/injectors isn't that hard. Pull upper intake, disconnect fuel lines, there are 4 8mm bolts holding the rail down, then pull, injectors are clipped in.

ok thanks, how much do you want for the Book

When you put the injectors back in, put a bit of dish soap on the rubber o-rings to help them slide into place easier. reason for soap is that unlike oils, it won't dry out after placing, and will make it slide better than oils. I use dish soap every time i need to do something like this.
