The fuel injector on my ohv 4.0 that is on the passenger side under the coil pack keeps coming unplugged. I tryed bending in the tabs on the harness but there old and brittle.

Anyone had this problem? Maybe a rubber band will work? I'm not sure how long a rubber band will last in those conditions.

That old thang has seen its glory days. It won’t stay plugged in? Either get a new fitting or before that route try some good silicone adhesive and use it like a band aid . That should take care of it. It that don't work, then try Gorilla Tape.

I would hit wrecking yard and get a new connector.

A small zip tie(zap strap) could be used to hold tabs in against their locks on the injector.

All 8 injector locks broke on my old mountaineer, I used safety wire twisted around the base of the injector then twisted around the plug, worked fine.
