I need some help fixing my fuel gauge. I checked the wires and I really dont dont know what else to do. I need this fixed asap.

Fuel gauge wont work

the most common cause is a punctured float. You can test for a sunken float by probing the wires to measure the resistance and then rock the truck to see if the resistance changes as the fuel sloshes around.

That means I gotta drop the tank and replace the whole fuel pump or can I just replace the float somehow? Thanks I'll reply after I finish
