Okay guys, I have been looking under my truck all morning and I couldn't find the fuel filter. I did, however find this little door/cover-looking thing, I couldn't see behind it but from what I Can see, it apears to be a fuel pump. I Could be wrong???

Oh, my Ranger has Dual Tanks.

I have been told that the fuel filter is somewhere between the left rail, to between the fuel tanks. its puzzling me.

If someone could provide a picture of Where it is, that'd really help. I'm blind as a bat under my truck. hah.

The thing you found inside the frame rail (below the drivers door) is the high flow fuel pump and the filter your looking for is located a little farther up towards the engine inside the frame rail right below the steering arm just behind the motor mount. It is a large canister fuel filter held on by a large hose clamp. I will send a picture tomorrow morning.

The other one is right after the high flow pump, behind a metal cover that most people overlook and never change. Just lettin you know.
