Hey Ranger guys, new to this Ranger, not new to cars (20+ years experience). The 99 Ranger I got needs a fuel filler neck. It's a 3.0 with auto trans, 4 door, 4x4, and step side bed. All of the ones on eBay say regular 2 door or regular bed, none of them seem to have a straight forward answer for the 4 door flare side bed.

Anyone want to shed some light on this situation?

Here's how bad it is:

And the rear diff cover is leaking THROUGH the cover, not just the seal.

The front brake lines are blown out, the trailer hitch is rusted in place, and the spare wheel is wasted underneath the bed. This is why yo don't park on grass, people!

Overall though, the truck is clean!

Thanks for any help!

Ouch that is some serious rust. Be sure to look at your shackles and spring hangers as well.

As for the filler neck for the standard bed, the one on my 97 was rubber except for the part that the cap screwed into. I also believe it is slightly longer due to the bedside differences.

That was the FIRST thing I looked at when I found the truck, and they are solid! I was surprised. I got it for a good deal, but I buy and sell cars/trucks, so this one will be up for sale as soon as I am done fixing the minor things. I don't think I will have any problems moving this one...
