Why does my dome lite like to come on and off with my doors closed? I have the extended cab.

Open up both doors and spray the latch mechanisms with a good shot of wd-40 and open and close them a few times...that should fix it.

or replace the switch they tend to go bad fairly easy

yeah in my 98 the switches in both doors went out they are pretty ceap and easy to replace

WD40 will fix them right up. Until then you can just pop the fuze out of the cabin box to cut the juice to them when your not using the truck.
