Frustrated Oregon Noob

56 year-old newbie here.

Bought a 1990 Ranger Custom for my kid last spring. Not bad, not great. Body has minor dings, interior is in really good shape EXCEPT FOR:

1) sun visors covers are wasted. I can get new ones pretty easy or even have my wife sew on vinyl covers.
2) (the real reason for joining this forum and this post) door arm rest pads have been ripped out. Just have the mounting screw holes on the plastic panel.

I think I have spent at least 10 hours online looking where I can get a pair. I don't even care if they match the blue interior. I am pretty saavy in the net (IT professional here), so it's not like I haven't thought of several avenues besides parts houses. Used parts pages, local wrecking yards with national network search, eBay, and even Craigslist (who in the hell is Craig, anyway?). Even did general Google searches spread over several months. Nothing! I am about ready to shave down a couple of 2x6s and make the the arm rest "pad" out of wood!

But really?! Nothing? This shouldn't be THAT hard!! (that's what she said...)

Help, people! C'mon, toss me some resources I must be missing! Bruises on the forehead are forming.
