front suspension

I have a 2005 Ranger and have put tires and body lift on it. I had the ball joints redone as well. When I drive dirt roads the suspension doesn't take the small bumps well. I have new shocks but I know that something has to be done so that the ride is smoother. Help.

My ranger is a 2WD and I am trying to understand how that type of suspension works. How does one of those baja trucks take all the punishment?

depend on what model you have. is yours a coil spring front end or a torsion bar front end? and baja trucks are FAR from stock. long travel control arms king shocks gusseted frames. you cant expect a mostly stock truck to perform like a true Prerunner http://www.therangerstation.com/galleries/Prerunners/shaun_kite.html

I have coil springs on the front. I appreciate your reply. I am just tired of it not handling the way I want. I am not climbing any rocks, just want it to take the little bumps in a better way.
