The front coil springs are really starting to sag after 3 yrs with a V8 on 4 banger springs. I've been looking with no success for a set of performance springs. Has anyone seen any? Or is my best bet to use V6 springs.

The exploder came with a v-8, I'm not sure what years. I'd look at those for a stock replacement spring, or you could go aftermarket with the exploder spring part #.
Good luck,
Richard

The front of a V-8 Explorer (like any 95-01 Explorer) is torsion bar... no springs.

I seen the 4.0L ext cab springs being mentioned before. No personel history with them.

Another option is to use f-150 springs, it looks to be a fairly simple mod. There's a few members that have done it, search is your friend.

I also have a 5.0 ranger mine is a 93 I have been restoring to better than new. I bought my MOOG VARIABLE RATE springs on amazon last month paid 70.00 shipped.

Thanks for the info i'll check into those.

Stock v6 springs work with no problems at all. Swap a set in if the ones you bought don't do the trick. I have done several v8 swaps in both rangers and BII's using all stock components save for an oil filter relocation kit. A 302 out weighs a v6 by very little.
Stock v6 springs work great. Especially if its a 4x4.
