My Front license plate holder came off in the last big snow storm, and I am having a hard time getting it back on...any suggestions? I was held on by two rivets, so I am puzzled!

Well did the license plate holder break off or did the rivets just pop out? It they did pop out, just do what strvger said and replace it with stainless bolts, 2 stainless washers, and 2 stainless bolts. If the actual holder broke off then ur gonna need a new one. It should be more than easy to find one at a u-pull-it. :icon_thumby:

Here's what I did. Not the best option, but its held up alright, it's pretty strong. The plate is a little bent on the corners (probably a snowbank), but so what. Its kinda temporary until I can get a new bumper.

I bought a piece of 1/2 inch flatstock from the local ACE Hardware, 6 stainless nuts, bolts, and 2 lockwashers (on the bumper mounting bolts); and a couple nylon washers (between the flatstock and the bumper.

I drilled out the plate holes on the bumper. Bent the flat stock, and drilled 6 holes in it. You can kinda see the rest.

The best part is it cost me under $10.
