Are the front leaf spring hangers the same. I need them for a 88 b2 but i can only find ones that are listed for 90-97 ranger?

Do you really need a new thread for every part you have questions about?

Yes they will work or they will be close enough that you can make them work.

Interesting. So are stock replacements available anywhere? For shits I tried at several parts stores online and couldn't find them listed.

I don't know about BIIs, but I know the front hangers for Explorers are NOT available anywhere. When my hanger started to rot out, I had to have my friend weld a patch panel on it. I caught it early enough so there was still a lot of material to weld to. Call up a dealer just to see if they offer them. If they don't, start junkyard hunting or break out the welder.

They no longer exist. You might find a replacement hiding in a dark corner at a dealer. Could try LMC.

FWIW one from a 2wd F150 could be made to work and uses the same frame offset that the B2 uses. Good for a bit of lift also.

That's unfortunate, although not surprising.

So do the newer F150's have 2.5" leaf springs then? Everything I'm used to working on (mostly mid 90's and older F-series) have 3" wide springs.
