So I went wheeling yesterday and ended up breaking a front axel. I wantto toget a xploder front end for it. Can I get one out of Antony of do I have to use a certian years etc etc It will be going in a 89b2 and I aslo don't know what all you need besides the diff and the axels

Safest bet is a 91 to 94 xploder, grab an axle that has the same gear ratio as your existing rear axle. You might as well pull the rear axle off of the xploder, you'll be fixing your old one soon enough, get both projects out of the way at the same time.

Get everything they will give you at the junk yard. Hub to hub. Get the radius arms, bushings, and hardware as well. And all the miscellaneous hardware that comes off the donor vehicle. Its better to have parts to throw away afterwards than to lack the parts you need halfway through the project. You will be able to use your existing break calipers, so if they don't give you those, then don't sweat it.

The biggest suggestion I would have for you. Would be spell check. You have it, so use it.

You'll enjoy the d35. Might wanna put the 8.8 on a to do list lol

its a bolt in swap minus the front drive shaft. it'll have to be cut down a few inches. good luck

Can I get one out of Antony ...

That depends on if Antony has one in him. If he does, ask him to bend over and you pull real hard.:D:D

I was way tired when I wrote this. After 3 hours it took getting the b2 off the trail. Call the junkyard they want 249.99 for the front end so gonna scrap that idea and just get a new axel to get threw the winter with and sas is coming next feb with the tax returns. So if anybody has a driver's side front axel laying around let me know what you want for it. Sounds like you guys had a fun time with my lack of grammar skill when immured but it made for a good laugh

dang. you can get a complete d35 at the pull a part here for like 150...

I got one of an old class mate for about $50. Found it on TRS!

Find a wrecked ex buy it all. Use motor trans tcase axles. Even tho sas is nice, ttb d35 will be cheaper and could serve you well. I learned from a few guys on here that the d35 can do some good stuff. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, just showing other options

I have been doing that f I found the right deal I would but haven't found the right deal. I'm not saying I would go with the ttb but it's a bitch to align after you lift I and I'm gonna go up to 35's when I lift so to me a sas is the practical way to do it. This isn't a dd for me it. Just a toy/wheeler so I want to make it handle/go jus about anywhere I point it to. Thanks for the input and again if I four the right deal for sure but if not I'm planning on doing the sas

The ttb will go anywhere you point it built right. Id sas if I could justify it
