Hello, I have a 2003 ranger edge 4x4, v6 4.0 5speed manual. I currently have rough country 5" suspension lift. I want to fit 33s or possibly 35s but want to make sure my front end will hold up (I do not do serious off-roading). From what I understand other than a solid Axel swap the only thing to do is swap out the dana35 locking hub for a dana 44 knuckle, however after reading it is my understanding that this not possible for my year of truck due to its live Axel? So I guess my question is will my current setup hold up 35s or will have continuous problems/ and is there anything else I can do to reinforce my front end? or should I stay away from 35s. My other question is what body lift would be best with my rough country suspension lift. Last question what is best coil over conversion kit for my truck? thanks in advance.

Moved your post to the 4x4 section of the forum.

First question I have is... what is your current gear ratio?

A 4.10 is a stretch for 33 inch tires... but many will run that combination. 35's would certainly require a gear change to have any kind of acceptable power/drivability.

Some people here say 35's are max on a D35... I have no experience with them.
