Front end squeals

I have recently picked up a 98 XLT 4x4. About two days after I bought it, I noticed a intermittent squeal coming from the front end. The wheel bearings are good, and I replaced the front breaks assuming that was what it was. The rotors where bad and one of the calipers was as well. Its still making the same noise. Has anyone else delt with this? Im no mechanic. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

This description is so vague that I'm not sure anyone will be able to pin point it.

The only thing I can think of is the belt. Get it doing it and then lightly spray some WD-40 on the belt. If it goes away the belt is the culprit. Sometime a belt noise can be fixed just by reversing the belt's rotation.

I apologize for the brevity. It is not an engine noise. The squeal gets more frequent as I pick up speed, but not with an increase of RPM. It does not start until the truck is warm and going about 15mph.
EDIT: It kinda sounds like something is catching in the same spot with every rotation of the wheel. I hope this paints a slightly better picture of what im dealing with, and thanks for your quick response. I appreciate it.

I have to ask, is it mostly/worse on curves?:icon_twisted:

Seriously though, brake squeal?

IF it's one of the years with the vacuum hubs, could the vacuum be opening with every rotation creating that sound?

Is it in 4Hi when this is occurring? Do you have locking hubs?

What happens when you step on the brakes at speed?

Is it a constant, rhythmic noise, or is it inconsistent? You only said it's intermittent, but when does the sound happen?

How do you brake pads look?
