while working on my winch today i noticed just how little up travel my truck must have due to the bump stops being approx. 3/4 inch from the beams. is this pretty common? ive been wanting to do the washer lift to level the truck out some but now i think i need more. thoughts, ideas, opinions are welcome.

dude my bumpstops are destroyed and it is really a good idea to increase the distance you know it will be worth it. have fun with it. and deff lift and don't look back

My Ranger had maybe 1" even when the truck was brand new. Definitely can't hurt to stick some washers (or a spacer) under the coils.

you could actually do f-150 coils. it will make it stiffer if you don't mind that. then you will need new bushings prolly

I'd stick with just washers and retain the original ride quality, never made sense to me to put half-ton pickup coils (f150) in a mini-pickup :icon_twisted: The TTB coils are already stiff enough.

ive already picked up some washers, hoping to get them in this weekend. just need to know if i will be able to get by with the factory bushings or if new ones will be needed.

I would count on needing bushings. It's usually a matter of luck whether you can reuse the old ones after a major change like this.
