i have an 87 ranger and was wondering if i could take the front grill, hood, fenders from an 89-92 ranger and put them on mine with not to much work? bumper would be nice but not that big of a deal.

some guys have done with out changing the rad support.....but the rad support is different

ok cool, if i wanted to change the radiator support how hard would that be? also does that mean the bumper would work as well?

27 spot welds on each side of a '91 ranger, plus two body bolts. Remove all that is connected to the core support; wiring, rad, plastic inner fender panels, etc. If you have both trucks side by side, I'd guess that the majority of it could be done in a day. I'm guessing because I haven't finished and it's on my race truck, not a street driven truck.
A cell pic of the bit I used, it worked great, cost ~ C$14.00. Use a center punch and it takes about 5-10 seconds per spot-weld;
