i have a 92 exploder with the twin traction beam front axle and was wondering if i can remove the driver side axle beam to look inside the diff and make sure nothings wrong with the gears? I also want to get in there and clean it out real good

Yes, you can remove the driver's side beam.

You will have to dig deeper than just pulling the beam off to check out the gears. Unless you got that fancy superman x-ray vision.

thank you, is it hard to pull that beam off?

here's my "easy way" of pulling the diff out. Just disconnect everything on the left side, pull both axle shafts, and drop it.

ok, hows about an "easy" way to pull it without putting the truck on a lift and dropping the whole diff?

Put it on jackstands and drop the drivers side beam.

ok, thanks guys i will try to do that on my day off this week or next
