Hey guys I have a 1988 Ford Ranger 2.9 V6 with disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. I am currently in the process of re-building the truck and going through everything. I have re-done the rear brakes already and am on the fronts now. I have purchased new rotors because the ones that I took off were too thin after I got them turned. I also have new brake pads as well. I have put every thing back together and placed the rear pad with the anti-rattle clip in and that sat flat against the rotor and before I placed the front pad in I took a c-clamp and gave it all I could to push the piston back in and trust me its not going in anymore. I also removed the cap off the master cylinder to try to relieve the pressure and then pushed the piston in. I tried to slide the caliper back onto the rotor and it just wont go on. I'm almost thinking its just too much to fit all that new stuff in the old caliper. I'm just at a stand still. Thanks in advance for the help guys.
