So I'm planning on doing some serious front bumper work.

What I want to do is shorten the stock front bumper a lot and then build a prerunner bumper over it. I'm pretty sure I can deal with the tube part, its the bodywork I'm not sure on. I have heard that even the body color bumpers are plastic - is this true?
