- In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
It is common for Ranger bumpers to get misaligned over the years. There are 4 bolts you can loosen on the brackets. These bolts are in slotted/oversized holes. Just loosen them, repositioned the bumper and tighten the bolts. It's easier if you have a friend to hold the bumper in position while you tighten the bolts. But I usually do it with jack stands.
