i have a 89 ranger 4x4 and the driver side axle just got replaced and i tried to make sure the seal was in place. i filled the diff back up and now if the axle is not on level ground it leaks. sound i mess with it or should i just let it go. And how big of a pain are they to replace.( i am talking about the oil seal on the end of the axle, differential side)

So the drivers side axle seal is leaking? Remove rotor/brakes and spindle, remove axle shaft, pop out seal, install new seal, and reassemble.

^ +1. I wouldn't just let it go.

It could wear funny because it hasnt been installed correctly. That could cause it leak worse and possibly leave you stranded. For peace of mind, I would just fix the leaking seal.
