around thanksgiving i was in an accident and had to put new spindles on both sides, shortly after i started losing hardware, at first i thought it was my neglect to torque the bolt correctly. until i lost the vph. i then started to realize there was a problem, i put manual locking hubs on and one came apart and the other fell off. i began to run it without a hub on one side (i removed the ring inside the broken manual hub to use as a spacer to keep the rattling down) slowly the rattling got worse and now it has started grinding to the point where it rattles the entire truck and if you spin the cv axles by hand you can hear it grinding. could i have stripped (or broken) something inside the housing or did i just strip the cv axle?
