If i powerwashed all the oil off my 87 it would be just as rust free.
well there is an advantage to having oil leaks.... they keep the rust at bay... lol

My Ranger will probably never rust around the back of the engine due to a small rear main seal leak...

I had an 87 Mercury Grand Marquis that had a pretty decent size rear main seal leak... most of the underside from the engine back was coated in oil

Not bad but I would think there are cleaner out there.
