Friction Modifier In P/S

@RonD how did you know what his store carries??? Did I miss where he said WHICH parts house?
Yes...more importantly RonD, when were you going to tell me you're a wizard
it only takes a few posts from RonD to know that his wizardry is unparalleled.

How many times do I need to tell you...

Friction Modifier In P/S

Actual photo of @RonD

RonD will be at the get-together in Ohio. We won't see him. He will be behind a huge gold curtain and we will just hear his booming voice as he issues RBV wisdom to the masses. Then we will follow the yellow mud road back to our homes, saying, "there's no place like home. There's no place ...."

I'm really hoping this ends up being a fix, everyone wants a quieter ford p/s and yes dirtman I thought the same thing, but RonD makes a good point and I'm feeling pretty good about it. A lot of people for some reason don't like the ford rangers, I for one think that only needing about 5 different sockets to take every bolt out of this vehicle is amazing engineering, they're pretty easy to understand. Listen everybody, I just got done working on a saab 9-3 last month so everything is looking really easy to do right now

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times... use placenta for power steering fluid.
its true.

he has said it at least once.

Hey hey hey.....I only do the Kansas jokes

No, you want less friction in power steering pump not more

Ford power steering pumps are just noisy, Ford deals with that by installing A VOLUME KNOB on every radio they install in every vehicle, never seen a Ford radio without a volume control, now you know WHY :)

On newer models they even moved it to THE STEERING WHEEL, point made, lol

What do I do, my Ford has buttons instead of knobs? JK.

The power steering pump on my 88 F250 has been whining since 88, and so has the one on my 88 Bronco 2 I'd assume, so there's truth to the noisy power steering pumps, no wonder all the speakers in my Bronco 2 are blown, that pump must have been extremely loud at some point before it was replaced, and well the one that's been in it since I've had it whines too LOL.

Want some cheese with that??

I painted my P/S pump red

Because...................wait for it..........................yes thats right, I like red whine :)
?

Ron stick to information. Your jokes suck. Wait..... is ron really alexa?

Yeah I'm not noticing a difference yet, it'l probably take some time, I added 3/4 of the container

I thought the "FORD PS whine" was from air being in the system. How would friction modifier help with that?

I thought it was air too. Perhaps the friction modifier changes the surface/interface tension.

I'm not sure where the air would be trapped? I bleed the system every time I add fluid
