Got it delivered yesterday and put it on as soon as I could get to it yesterday afternoon. I am very happy with it. I will be going camping soon and I can see how the Basketcase works out.

Well, Yakima states it will hold up to the max weight of my Yakima roof rack (150 lbs). It is very sturdy and weighs in at about 17 lbs. I can put some camping gear and extra stuff that won't fit in the bed. I have a flat spare tire carrier with a spare 33x12.5x15 tire and a bed extender I cut down to fit in the bed with the spare tire. I got rid of all my motorcycles a couple of years back and I can still get a couple of our mountain bikes in the back.

150? nice....stronger than it looks i guess. i'm def a fan of roof racks on trucks

Me, too!! I need all the extras when we take off for a weekend or a week of going places...lol

i do alot of camping myself, once i get the BII running, i plan on building a rack for it.....last time we went camping there was just too much stuff to fit in my explorer....plus i cant have any fun in it cause it's only 2wd

I put all of my dry goods (clothes, sleeping bags, ect) in mine when I camp. For wheeling trips they would be awesome.

Thats awesome, now on long trips you can tie down one basket case inside the other. But she might not like it very much. J/K

LOl, that's good!!!! I love the free stretch net that came in the box!!! I can use in on my receiver hitch cargo carrier!!! I got too much stuff, but still need more stuff....what is wrong with this??? lol

im liking it. at first when i saw YAKIMA ROOF RACK, i thought, "oh no, this thing is gonna be ugly". it looks good and a low profile and definitly plenty stout.

i cant decide on if i want a chase rack or a roofrack like my old one.
